DTF INSTRUCTIONS

PRESS INSTRUCTIONS FOR DTF.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE A HEAT PRESS

TEMPERATURE: 280-300 F

PRESSURE:  HEAVY ( MUST HAVE A HARD TIME CLOSING YOUR HEAT PRESS)

 TIME: 10-15 seconds

PEEL: Warm Peel ( please note if you do not have a commercial press you may need to leave it to cold press)

Pre-press garment for 5-10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO HAVE A CLEAN SURFACE TO PRESS.

-Place transfer on garment, cover with parchment paper/teflon sheet, use CLEAR heat tape to keep your transfer from shifting and press for 10-15 seconds.

-Make sure no collar , baby onesie collar , metal pieces from garment ( zipper, button) is in the way.

- You need an even plain to press. This allows your print to press and adhere evenly with even heat

-Peel Warm ( OR cold if your press is not a commercial press)

2nd press: Cover with parchment paper/teflon sheet and press again for 10 seconds.

TROUBLESHOOTING ADVICE:

TRANSFER NOT LIFTING?

Please re cover and use a teflon sheet. Turn your press to mid-heavy pressure. Let fully cool down and peel.

TRANSFER NOT STICKING?

You may have a cold spot or uneven pressure. Please rotate your garment. Re-press for another 7-10 seconds and peel when cold.

Disclaimer : After gathering feedback regarding the peel of our transfers I want to be sure I relay information to everyone about how to properly peel our transfers. While our transfers are immediate peel-hot peel/warm , we do recommend waiting for the transfer to cool if you are using a non-commercial heat press. If your heat press is an Amazon press, StarCraft, or other budget friendly press we do recommend waiting for the print to cool before peeling. All heat presses are different and we recommend utilizing a test print on a test shirt before pressing any orders to see how your press does with our prints.
